खुशखबर - मुंबई महानगरपालिकेत ८४९ सुरक्षा रक्षकांची भरतीसाठी कार्यवाही सुरु येत्या सहा महिन्यात भरती होणार

महापालिकेच्या अग्निशमन दलात ९१० पदे भरण्यासाठी प्रशासकीय प्रक्रिया सुरु झाली असताना सुरक्षारक्षकांची सुमारे एक हजार ७३५ पदे मात्र अद्याप रिक्त आहेत.एकूण रिक्त जागांपैकी किमान अर्ध्या रिक्त जागा भरण्यात याव्यात. यानुसार सुमारे ८४९ सुरक्षारक्षकांची भरती करण्याचे आदेश सन २०१८ मध्ये पालिकेचे तत्कालीन आयुक्त अजय मेहता यांनी दिले होते. मात्र चार वर्षे उलटूनही भरती झाली नसल्याने मनुष्यबळाबर ताण यात असल्याचे युनियनचे म्हणणे आहे. पालिकेच्या सुरक्षा विभागातील सुरक्षा कर्मचाऱ्यांना पालिकेच्या प्रभाग कार्यालये इमारती, रुग्णालये,मालमत्ता धरणे जलाशय जलवाहिन्या आदी ठिकाणी सुरक्षेसाठी तैनात करण्यात आले आहे.

पालिका मुख्यालय इमारतीची सुरक्षाही सुरक्षा विभागाकडून केली जाते. सध्या मुख्यालय इमारतीची सुरक्षा करण्यासाठी ६९ सुरक्षा रक्षक तीन शिप्टमधे कार्यरत आहेत. येथे २४ जागा रिक्त आहेत.

सध्या सुरक्षा रक्षक पदावर कार्यरत असणाऱ्यांची एकूण संख्या २ हजार १९४ असली तरी १ हजार ७३५ पदे रिक्त आहेत. मुख्य रक्षकपदी २०५ जण कार्यरत असून १० पदे रिक्त आहेत. तर जमादार पदी ३७ जण कार्यरत असून १० पदे रिक्त आहेत.

सहा महिन्यात पदे भरणार ?

मोठ्या प्रमाणात रिक्त असलेली पदे भरणे आवश्यक असल्याचे युनियनने म्हटले आहे . हि पदे तात्काळ भरण्यात यावीत अशी मागणी युनियनने कामगार आयुक्तांकडे केली आहे. ८४९ सुरक्षारक्षक पदे भरण्यासाठी प्रशासकीय स्तरावर कार्यवाही सुरु आहे. येत्या सहा महिन्यात हि भरती प्रक्रिया पूर्ण होऊ शकते अशी माहिती सुरक्षा विभागाच्या वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्याने दिली.

While the administrative process has started to fill 910 posts in Municipal Fire Brigade, about 1,735 posts of security guards are still vacant. At least half of the total vacancies should be filled. According to this, the order to recruit around 849 security guards was given by the then Municipal Commissioner Ajay Mehta in the year 2018. But the union says that there is no recruitment even after four years. The security personnel of the security department of the municipality have been deployed for security at the ward office buildings, hospitals, property, dams, reservoirs, water channels etc.

The security of the municipal headquarters building is also done by the security department. At present, 69 security guards are working in three shifts to protect the headquarters building. There are 24 vacancies.

At present, the total number of security guards are 2 thousand 194, but 1 thousand 735 posts are vacant. 205 people are working in the post of head guard and 10 posts are vacant. While 37 people are working on the post of Jamadar and 10 posts are vacant.

Will the posts be filled in six months?

The union has said that there is a need to fill the large number of vacant posts. The union has demanded to the labor commissioner that these posts should be filled immediately. Proceedings are underway at the administrative level to fill up 849 security guard posts. A senior officer of the security department informed that this recruitment process can be completed in the next six months.
